'Classical Impressions' in Pastel
It was a wonderful thing to be able to have a solo exhibition at The Gallery, Nelson City Framers – such a great space.
The exhibition was to run 5-19 May, then was extended through to 5 June by owner Greg, saying that people were really enjoying my work – which was amazing to hear.
This exhibition showcased a collection of new work that explored classical poses with an impressionist eye. I invite you to get up close to my work to see the results of multiple layers of pastel line work revealing colour that you may not expect.
I had a wonderful opening night and sold my favourite piece in the first couple of days.
